1. Introduction
1.1. These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the referral campaign giveaway ("Giveaway") conducted by Moorestown Scavenger Hunt ("Organizer"), taking place in Moorestown Township, New Jersey.
1.2. By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to abide by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Giveaway is open to legal residents of New Jersey who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
2.2. Employees of the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. Campaign Period
3.1. The Giveaway will take place at the conclusion of the Candlelight Stroll Scavenger Hunt on November 23rd, 2024 between the hours of 7 pm and 8 pm ET ("Campaign Period").
4. How to Enter
4.1. Participants must sign up and engage in the Scavenger Hunt, such that they appear on the leaderboard at https://moorestownscavengerhunt.com/.
4.2. Each name on the leaderboard will count as one entry into the Giveaway.
4.3. Any such participant randomly selected for a prize may not be eligible for any other prize. One prize per person, only.
5. Prizes
5.1. Prizes include:
- $25 gift certificates from each of our sponsors
- A framed poster of a town map, optionally personalized to display the winner's residence or any Moorestown residence of their choice.
- Drinkware item adorned with a hand-drawn illustration of "Nipper" and the Victor Talking Machine as shown in the original marketing video
5.2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1. Winners will be selected randomly from the leaderboard of players who participanted during the scavenger hunt.
6.2. The random drawing will be conducted at the Historical Society of Moorestown, ie Smith-Cadbury Mansion at 12 high street, Moorestown, NJ, at the end of the scavenger hunt.
6.3. Winners must be physically present to claim their prize otherwise they will forfeit and another winner may be selected.
7. Prize Delivery
7.1. Gift-certificate winners must coordinate with the respective sponsors.
7.2. Locally-branded items, designs and personalized posters will be delivered to the winners within five weeks of winner confirmation.
8. General Conditions
8.1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Organizer's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway.
8.2. The Organizer is not responsible for technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed electronic communications caused by the participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Giveaway.
9. Privacy
9.1. Participants' personal information will be used in accordance with the Organizer's Privacy Policy, available at https://moorestownscavengerhunt.com/privacy.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.
11. Disputes
11.1. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey.
12. Sponsor
12.1. The Giveaway is sponsored by the Moorestown Recreation Advisory Committee, the Moorestown Business Association and the Historical Society and is hosted by Moorestown Digital.
